HUDSON CORRECTIONAL FACILITY:

Hudson, Colorado
Inland Public Properties Development, Inc. closed on a $1 Million deal for the Hudson Correctional Facility, the site is approximately 50 acres of undeveloped land that will be the site of the new Correctional Facility that will house 1,250 beds upon the expected completion date in Q4 2009.
IPPD worked closely with the Colorado General Assembly in approving and funding the facility for the Department of Corrections. The facility is leased to The Cornell Companies (NYSE:CRN) (Cornell) under a triple-net lease. Cornell will operate the Facility under a service contract with the State of Colorado, Department of Corrections. A comprehensive Development Agreement has been adopted between IPPD and Cornell.
The entire facility has been designed to be American Correctional Association compliant. Among the different services provided are: Adult Basic Education (ABE), P-GED, GED, Therapeutic Community, Protective Custody, Life Skills, Substance Abuse and Vocational courses, as well as access to the law library and leisure library. Among the different services include a fully-staffed medical department gymnasium/ recreational facility, and various religious services.
